Neo event "The future of APS in Industry 4.0" is a success!

A few weeks ago, the event "The Future of APS in Industry 4.0" took place, organized by NEO Engenharia de Produção, with the support of SIEMENS. The event was full of news, trends, and testimonials from clients who experienced real gains with the solutions provided by NEO. To kick things off, we had a presentation by the director of indirect sales for the Americas - MOM Portfolio, Marco Antônio Baptista, explaining how Siemens became one of the largest software company in the world and the leader in market share in the industrial software segment.

After that, it was NEO's turn to present the current challenges and, especially, the trends and opportunities for APS in the future of Industry 4.0! If you want to know a little about what we talked about there, check out this blog post with 10 opportunities for PPC! Then our client, PLASC EMBALAGENS, came to give their testimonial about the PREACTOR APS project in their industry and the gains they experienced. Charlene Medeiros and Julio Kolcheski from PPC gave a fantastic presentation! The results are impressive, including reductions of 20% in setup times, 30% in order delays, and 50% in scheduling time andmesdelivery date promises

Finally, Fernando Canelas from MÓVEIS BARTIRA closed with a flourish, sharing PREACTOR APS's journey in the largest furniture manufacturer in Latin America. He told us that previously, it took 1 hour to program 10 resources, using 10 different spreadsheets. Today, it's possible to program 100 resources in 1 hour, meswith the incredible complexity of a factory that produces a complete piece of furniture every 7 seconds!
